As you know, we’re pretty enthusiastic about all the recipes you can use our delicious free range eggs in. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of ways to eat them every day.

The first thing lots of us think of when it comes to eggs is breakfast. Boiled, scrambled and poached, not to mention the fancier Eggs Benedict and Florentine. And now we’re daydreaming about eggy bread with bacon and maple syrup…

Enter Our Competition!

The Butchery in Lockerbie has been thinking about breakfast lately, too. They’ve got a new hot counter where you can get a yummy roll, pie or pastry for breakfast on the go. To celebrate, they’ve teamed up with local producers (including us, hurray!) for an amazing competition.

Head over to their Facebook page to win the ultimate breakfast bundle, which includes sausages, black pudding, haggis, tattie scones, rolls, bacon, orange juice – and, of course, a dozen of our fantastic free range eggs! Sounds great, doesn’t it?

If you’re not lucky enough to win, don’t worry, you can pick up one of their breakfast pies packed full of Lorne sausage, Black pudding, award-winning Haggis and – you guessed it – Nith Valley eggs. How’s that for a family weekend treat? And, let’s face it, pastry makes everything better… You can also pick up a pack of our free range eggs any time you’re there stocking up.

It’s not hard to see how versatile our eggs are and how great they are for experimenting with, not to mention the health benefits of including them in your and your family’s diet (they’re packed full of vitamins and minerals and other good things).

One thing we’re not experimenting with is our winning formula for our totally happy woodland hens. We believe the freedom they have roaming around the bracken and bushes on our farm makes for super tasty, super healthy eggs.
